On the Edge of Time, a series of web-based events addressing the future of humanity, nature, and technology. Inspired by historical utopian thinking, the bimonthly series seeks out proposed frameworks to confront current and future ecological challenges. The series unfolds through July 2023 with programming that explores research on systems created in symbiosis with the natural world and speculative ecological futures. The series is presented by our 2022/2023 curatorial fellow Rokhsane Hovaida.

Rokhsane Hovaida is an independent curator with a research focus on the relationship between digital culture and socially engaged practice. Previously, she has held positions in programming and communications at art institutions and galleries in the US and UK, where she has collectively organized over thirty exhibitions with a particular focus on community engagement and the digital experience. Rohksane holds a MA in Curating the Contemporary from London Metropolitan University and a BS in Business Administration and Art History from San Diego State University.
